With more than seven years experience capturing the world’s greatest hard rock and heavy metal artist’s freelance photographer and writer Cameron Edney alongside his wife & photographer Aimee Edney have branched out into covering all styles of professional photography.
Photographer Cameron Edney is best known for his work as creator of the Inside Out Webzine which closed up in March 2009 after five very successful years, covering and promoting the loudest bands on earth. Cameron’s various photographs, interviews and reviews have been used on many artists official MySpace, Facebook and web pages as well as pages of various record companies and promoters. Even furthering his exciting career Cameron’s work has also been heavily published in Spanish magazine This is Rock, Australia's Hysteria Magazine, Junior Magazine and has been featured in New York’s Improper magazine, Drum media (aust), Live to Ride (Aust), Terrorizer (U.K.) and Burrn! (Japan).
Cameron's wife and artistic photographer Aimee has captured some unreal images with bands such as Paramore, Alexisonfire, Anthrax, Evergreen Terrace, Sum 41, Alice in Chains, Dead Deities, Bloodsimple, Slipknot, 30 Seconds to Mars, Rob Zombie, Machine Head, Silverstein and legendary rock guitarist Slash. Aimee’s work has also been featured on many websites in Australia and overseas including Hardrock Haven, BWBK, Loud! Online, The Metal Forge and Junior Online as well as Australian print publications Hysteria magazine and Junior .
Besides photographing some of the world's biggest musical artists this dynamic duo have also captured some amazing images covering other fields of photography including weddings, pet and wildlife photography , social events, family portraits , nature and landscapes.
